Strings

This section is for violin, viola, 'cello and double bass players of all ages and experience. There are many categories in each of the instruments for solo performance spanning beginners, through grades 1 to 8 to sonata and recital classes. In addition there are classes for string duets, trios and quartets. A Concerto class in violin/viola and 'cello/double bass and a non competitive classes also feature in the Strings section.

In addition awards and cups are made for the most accomplished players over a series of classes.
