5. Provisions in preparation for attendance at the Festival : When parents, guardians and carers are not personally attending with their children or charge, we draw their attention to all aspects of this Child Protection Policy and require them to be satisfied that their child or charge will be accompanied to the Festival and are adequately supervised by a responsible adult acting on their behalf. Teachers submitting entrants to the Festival must ensure that the parents, guardians or carers of their pupils receive a copy of this policy document and are aware of the need to ensure appropriate supervision. In the case of those attending on school regulated outings, it will be the responsibility of the school authorities to ensure that the relevant permissions have been obtained.

6. Performance areas and changing areas : All public areas are supervised by more than one member of the team of Festival volunteers.
