ELIZABETH BALDEY
An exhibitioner at the Guildhall School of Music and a graduate of the Royal College of Music, Elizabeth studied the violin with Tessa Robbins and piano with Millicent Silver. She pursues a varied career as recitalist, chamber musician, orchestral player and teacher in which latter capacity she has held posts at Christ's Hospital , the Royal College of Music Junior Department, Kings School Rochester and Kent Music School. She has taught at Summer Schools in Dorset at Bryanston School, the Dragon's School in Oxford and Saint Felix School in Southwold.
Elizabeth plays regularly with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, performing in major concert halls throughout the world under the baton of such conductors as Kurt Masur, Franz Welser- Most and Vladimir Jurowski. Other orchestral experience includes work with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Sinfonietta, the BBC Concert and Northern Ireland Orchestras and the Ulster Orchestra.
