Adjudicators
Louise Bradbury
Louise Bradbury has recently been elected an Associate member of the Royal Academy of Music, an honour reserved for former students who have distinguished themselves in the music profession. She enjoys a rich and varied career as a performer and educationalist.
With the early music groups Fontanella and Passacaglia, Louise has enjoyed the privilege of performing some beautiful music with wonderful people. Highlights include performances at the Wigmore Hall; European summer festivals; live broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and concerts in special needs schools. With Passacaglia, Louise has released discs on the LINN and Naxos labels.
Louise’s desire to encourage young recorder players has led to her teaching at the Birmingham Conservatoire, several universities and the junior department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She currently teaches at Christ’s Hospital School in West Sussex and is in demand as an adjudicator and examiner.
With her husband, Louise is a director of Little Notes Music, an award-winning education programme for young families. She is also the proud mother of two daughters.
