Daniel Parkin
Flautist Daniel Parkin is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, and has played with the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, Britten Sinfonia, Southbank Sinfonia, Carl Rosa Opera, D’Oyly Carte Opera at the Savoy, and in numerous West End shows. He was Principal Flute with the Britten-Pears Orchestra for four years.
In 2005 Daniel was a YCAT finalist and made his Wigmore Hall Series debut in a live BBC broadcast, subsequently making his recital debuts at the Purcell Room, Royal Opera House and most recently Kings Place. He has appeared frequently at the Edinburgh, Aldeburgh, and Linari festivals working with artists including Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Elizabeth Watts and Emily Beynon, as well as broadcasting for BBC Radio.
